Eisley-4 Months

This has been my favorite month so far...I'm sure I will continue to say that as the months pass but seriously! Eisley is the sweetest most precious baby ever! Every where we go people comment on how cute she is. I know I'm partial because she is mine but I have to agree with them.

This month she went on her first airplane ride and first hotel stay and she was an angel! She loves to look around and see all that is going on. She has started wanting to sit up and anytime I put her on the ground or in my lap she lifts up her head like she is trying to sit up. She thinks she is so big!
She also decided to roll from her back to her tummy on Tyler's birthday. However, she waited until I turned around to do it.

She had a blast at her brother's birthday party and got lots of cuddles from her grandparents.

We got out the bin of baby toys and she is loving it. Tyler is loving it too. He saw all of them and said "This is the best day ever!"

Height: 26 in (90th %)
Weight: 15lb 13oz (97th %)
Food: 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. Most nights she sleeps straight through but occasionally she wakes up around 2am for a quick "snack".
Sleep: We have finally figured out her routine! She wakes up between 6:30-7 and I put her down for her morning nap at 8:30. We are usually out and about during her second nap so that one is done in the car. She takes her last nap after her 1pm feeding from 2:30-4. Most naps last around an hour and a half but not always. She usually gets really fussy around 6 because she is so tired. If we are in the car she might take a cat nap but usually we just push her through until bedtime.
Clothes: 3-6 month size
Likes: Sitting up, playing with her toes, smiling/talking
Favorite Mommy Moment: She is such a happy baby (until around 6pm) and I just love spending time with her. She is just so precious! I love watching Tyler become more and more interested in "baby Eisley" and saying how much he loves her. I can't wait to see their relationship develop over the years.

Last trip to Temple

This past weekend we took our last trip to visit my parents in Temple. My parents moved there when I was just a few months old and in a few months will be packing it all up to move to the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I am so excited for this new chapter in their lives and that we will have a free place to stay in NYC! One of the pastors from the church I grew up in recently moved to NYC to plant a church on the Upper West Side. He is currently working alongside Apostles church to get it started and my parents are going to help.  They are so excited and we can't wait to live vicariously through them :).

Here are some pictures from our weekend.
We drove in early on Saturday morning and Tyler wasted no time getting to the pool. I think we were out there from around 10 until 4! He loved it!

Sand and playdoh on the patio!

Lots of cuddles!
We love our Grammy and iPop and can't wait to visit them in NYC!

Blackberry Picking at Ham Orchard

We decided to start off our summer adventures by heading out to Ham Orchards to pick blackberries. I have wanted to go here for a couple of years and I finally got up the courage to make the hour drive out there. Thankfully Celeste decided to brave it with me and we had a great time.

We grabbed our buckets and off they went picking only the "juicy" and "yummy" ones :).

These pictures crack me up! Poor Eisley...I was trying to keep the sun off of her :)

After we picked our blackberries we headed to the pavilion for some yummy BBQ. It was amazing! I told Brian we might have to head back out there on a Saturday just to get some more of their food.

Both kids slept on the drive home which was fabulous for mommy! Of course, we had to take a bath once we got home because they were so sweaty.
We are looking forward to many more adventures this summer!
