Brian turns 31!

So we usually don't do gifts for each other because neither one of us is a big gift person. However, if we think of something really good then we do. Well....this time I thought of something GOOD! :) I was pretty excited and couldn't wait to give it to him until his actual birthday so we did it a little early. Brian and I aren't into buying really fancy cars. We are more practical when it comes to this aspect of living but it doesn't mean we can't admire from afar! Somehow I got the idea..."I wonder if you can rent one of those for a day?" and started researching. I was pretty sneaky and only searched on my phone so he wouldn't see the internet history and get suspicious. Come to find out you can rent them so I went ahead and booked it! 

Saturday morning we woke up and took Eisley over to Brian's parents house for her morning nap. Then Tyler, Brian, and I went to breakfast at the Original Pancake House. The reason we went there is because the Enterprise Exotic Car Rental location is next to it. 

After breakfast we were walking out and I had Tyler yell "We got you a new car!" to which I quickly finished by saying "just for today". HA! We got all checked in and headed back to Brian's parents house...well Tyler and I followed behind in the Acadia! He took his parents for a spin and took a few pictures while I fed Eisley and then he and I headed out.

First stop...Buon Giorno coffee Shop in Grapevine. It was so nice to sit and have a good drink while hanging out just the two of us!

Then off to do a little shopping.

We came home around 1 to feed Eisley again and were told that Tyler had told Mimi and Pops that he was tired and needed to take a nap so he was asleep. Ok...WHAT? He NEVER does that at our house. Naps have been a struggle lately...as I type he is currently in his room pulling all of the clothes out of his dresser. 

We headed to LOOK Theater to see Mission Impossible! After that we headed back to Brian's parents for one last feeding for Eisley and to pick up Micah and Julia. We headed out for dinner and drinks with them and had an absolute blast! 

I know this was my gift to Brian for his birthday but it ended up being one of our favorite days ever. We are so thankful to his parents for allowing us to come and go throughout the day while they watched our kids. Thankfully they had a blast and so did we! Now I have to talk Brian out of buying a Tesla! :) 

Eisley-6 Months

I can't believe that we have made it to 6 months! This is usually my favorite baby stage because their personality starts to show and they are just so sweet and fun! Easley is the sweetest and happiest baby and I am so thankful for her. She does such a great job keeping up with Tyler and I on all our outings. We all get a little crazy if we stay home too long :). This month we also took a trip to Colorado but I already blogged about that. 

We are working on sitting up this month. She can sit by herself for a few seconds but if she gets too excited she just flops over! We will keep working on it. 

Another big milestone this month...FOOD! With Tyler we started rice cereal the day he turned 4 months. Sorry sister....I wasnt in any hurry to start having to feed 2 kids dinner. We have done sweet potatoes like 5 times and she loves it! 

She did great eating the first time and actually has caught on quick! She isn't too messy :)

This is her new smile and when she gets real excited she sometimes lets out a little snort! Love it!

Height: 28inches (97th%)

Weight: 16lb 1oz (50th%)

Food: 6:30am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. We have started food and so far she loves sweet potatoes. Honestly, I think this lady would eat anything you fed her :). 

Sleep: Naps are usually 8-10am, 11:30-12:30pm, and 2-3pm. These aren't exact but pretty close to when she naps. She is a great sleeper! I just put her in her crib in her sleep sack and walk out. She almost always just rolls over and goes to sleep. Angel baby!!!

Clothes: 6-9 month size 

Likes: Rolling over and reaching for toys, sleeping on her tummy, chewing on everything, being outside, food! 

Favorite Mommy Moment: This month she started making the biggest gummy smile and when she gets really excited she snorts! Haha...so precious!
