Eisley-8 Months

This has been such a fun month with a couple new milestones! Eisley is growing up so fast and we love her so much! She is still such a happy girl unless its past 5pm and then she is just ready to go to bed! She has mastered sitting up and can now ride in the front of the shopping cart and go on the swing. She can move all over a room in a matter of seconds going from tummy to sitting to scooting...It is just a matter of time before she has mastered crawling. She is also trying so hard to pull up but hasn't figured out how to get her feet underneath her. I am so excited that the holiday season is upon us. I can't wait to have her apart of the many fun holiday activities in the upcoming months!

Such a good sport going with the flow so we can keep brother entertained. We went to the Arboretum Children's area for the first time and loved it!

She loves to drink from brother's cup and feed herself!

Spending time with mommy and daddy!

She is on the move...backwards. She has made a few efforts to move forward but hasn't conquered the forward crawl just yet.

She gives the sweetest snuggles!

First time riding in the shopping cart and swinging!
Carson was dedicated at church so we dressed up in our Sunday best to support him!

Tyler loves to cuddle and "wrestle" her. We have to keep an eye on him! :)

Food: 6:30am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 6:30/7pm. She is eating "food" 2-3 times a day.
Sleep: 2-3 naps and bedtime is between 6:30 and 7pm.
Clothes: 6-9 month size, some 12 month clothes
Likes: eating, drinking from a sippy cup, trying to crawl (she is so close)
Favorite Mommy Moment: Watching her try so hard to crawl. She is all over the place...going backwards!

Quick NYC Trip

We won a free flight voucher at Brian's company Christmas party this past year and thought it would be fun to use it to take a quick weekend trip up to visit my parents.  We flew up Friday evening and got in around 11pm due to an hour delay on our flight.

It was so late but we were so excited to be back in NYC! We love it there!
Saturday morning we woke up and headed to Buvette for brunch.

It was sunny and around 60 degrees the entire time we were there. Perfect!

After brunch we headed to the High Line and actually walked the entire thing. Such a fun way to walk through the city.

Navigating the subway with my parents!

I made my parents take a picture here because this is the clinic that my dad now works at now. My dad was obviously "thrilled" HA!

Brian's one request was to get a cookie at Levain Bakery.

We loved walking through Riverside Park. Most people think of Central Park when visiting NYC but this park was amazing and so NOT crowded. Can't wait to bring the kids here in December.

LOTS of walking...my mom's FitBit said we walked 12 miles on Saturday!

Dinner at my parents new found favorite Italian restaurant before heading to our night cruise of the harbor.

Boarded the boat...ready to see the city lights at night!

After the cruise my parents headed to grab some gelato while Brian and I went to find a speak easy. We found a cool little place called Little Branch. After waiting in line outside for about 20 minutes we finally got inside...only to find out they are cash only. Whoops...so Brian got his drink and then we headed back to my parents.

Here is the view from the guest bedroom at my parents place. It was so fun going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the city.

We walked to breakfast and then headed to the airport. It was such a fun trip and I can't wait until I can experience it again in December with Tyler and Eisley too!
