One of our good friends is a photographer and took some awesome maternity pictures for us. Thanks Ryan! Check out his website www.ryanodowd.com.

35 Week Update
I can't believe that I am approaching my last month of pregnancy. I had an appointment with my doctor on Monday and the best part was that we got to see Tyler's sweet little face.
The sonographer said everything is looking great and that he is head down and ready to go! She actually made a comment that he was really low and she didn't think if I would make it all the way to 40 weeks...we'll see about that. I'm not getting my hopes up. At this point she is estimating his birth weight to be between 7 and 8 pounds. My doctor said that I am dilated to 1 cm at this point and I have gained a total of 30 pounds. Yikes!
Tuesday some of my sweet co-workers through a baby shower for me at school. It was "cowboy" themed and everyone was given a different time of day (play time, feeding time, sleepy time, etc). I got lots of great stuff. Tanner came along and was a great helper with unwrapping all the gifts. He still is a little confused on who all the stuff is for. He kept saying "Tanner's" and I had to remind him that it is "Tyler's".
"YAY!!!"
Another highlight of the week was our field trip to the zoo. We took 4 classes and 35 chaperones with us. I had my brother on standby just in case I happened to go into labor. I think he was a little disappointed that he wasn't needed after all. :) Especially after we all remembered how "prepared" he was when my sister was in labor with Tanner.
Yes, that is Grant with a mask and gloves in the delivery room....scary! (Sorry the pic is so blurry.) Here is a picture of me at the zoo. Only 4 1/2 more weeks till we meet our little guy. I can't wait!

Tyler's "Mustache Bash" Shower and 32 Week Update
I had such a fun time celebrating the arrival of Tyler with some of my closest friends a few weekends ago. My hostesses did such a great job and the "mustache" theme was super cute! Thanks to everyone who came and showered me and Tyler with gifts. It was so fun!
Having fun with the mustaches....We had to turn them into a unibrow in honor of my dad :).
Creepy.....I know! :)
This past weekend I reached 32 weeks. It is crazy to think that Tyler will be here in 8 weeks! He is moving and kicking all the time now and I finally felt him get the hiccups this past weekend. I am still feeling great and sleeping well (except for the occasional potty break). Life has pretty much been normal for me up until this point in my pregnancy (other than the obvious fact that there is a person growing inside of me). However this past week I did hit a little bump in the road. Some of the teachers at my school go walking after school so I thought I would join them. I have been really bad about working out the last few months so I thought it would be good for me to get back into it before Tyler arrives...I was WRONG! I lasted about 15 minutes before I had to turn around and walk back to school. My calves were burning and my belly was cramping....let's just say I felt pretty pathetic. They kept trying to remind me that I am 8 months pregnant and that I should take it easy but I thought walking was "easy". I guess I am realizing that my body can't do things just because my mind things I should be able to do it.
I have officially gained around 20-23 pounds depending on what time of day I weigh myself :). I also am now going to the doctor every 2 weeks now. I have another sonogram at the end of April and I can't wait to see how big he has gotten over the past few months.
Horizontal stripes were probably not the best idea!
Easter Weekend
Brian and I had a great Easter weekend. I was lucky enough to get Friday and Monday off so we headed out of town around lunch time on Friday. For Valentines Day my parents had given us a night at a B&B in Salado so we decided to use it this weekend as a mini "babymoon". The weather was perfect so we thought it would be nice to walk around Salado but I quickly realized that probably wasn't the best idea for me. Instead we headed back to the B&B to relax and do one of Brian's favorite thing...sit on the porch and read. This is definitely Brian's "happy place". Later that night we enjoyed an incredible dinner at the Inn. Thanks mom and dad for such a relaxing evening before Tyler arrives :).
The next morning we checked out and headed to Temple to celebrate Easter with my family. Grant had come in town late Thursday night and Kali, Lance, and Tanner were planning on being there too. However, Lance was stuck at home with a crazy big kidney stone so we had to celebrate without them. :( The weekend was filled with more "porch" time for Brian and lots of bonding between the boys. My mom and I had fun running errands and she helped me get started on the sign I am making for Tyler's nursery.
On Monday I tagged along with my sister and Tanner at the zoo. It was so fun seeing how excited he was to see all of the animals. When he saw the lions he kept saying "HUGE". I was surprised at how interested he was in all of the animals that we saw. He was such a trooper! It was so fun but let's just say that Aunt Taylor took an hour and a half nap once she got home. I can't wait for Tanner and Tyler to be great friends :).

28 Week Update
Usually I don't go this far between pregnancy updates but things have been pretty crazy around the Pattillo house this month. From my last post you probably know that we moved into a house! This is my Spring Break week so Brian decided to take it off so we could get the house all put together. It has been so nice having him home with me to get everything all set up and ready to go. I will post pictures of our house all set up once we get it all ready.
The past few weeks of pregnancy have been great. However, I can see many new changes taking place as I entered into my 3rd trimester. Tyler is kicking and moving constantly. Brian loves to sit with his hand on my stomach and feel him kicking and moving. One time Tyler was kicking so much it looked like he was doing back flips as my stomach moved all around. It is so crazy to think that there is a little person growing inside of me! I still am feeling great but have noticed that it is harder for me to bend down and move around because my tummy keeps getting in the way. I was looking back at all of my belly pictures and this week I think is so much bigger than even my 23 week update. It is crazy how your belly just "pops". The only down side of the past few weeks has been dealing with my kidney stones. I have had kidney stones twice in the past and know that there are stones just hanging out inside of me so I am not surprised that my pregnancy has kind of stirred them up again. I am hopeful that they won't get too bad :). One of the things on my to-do list for the next few weeks is to interview and pick a pediatrician. My next appointment is at the end of March and after that appointment I start seeing the doctor every 2 weeks. I can't believe that it is getting so close to FINALLY meeting Tyler. I can't wait!

We bought a house!
This weeks was a very important week for Brian and I....we closed on our first home! Once we found out we were pregnant with Tyler we began thinking about possibly buying, renting, or even possibly building a house. Back in December we were literally one day away from signing the paperwork to begin building a house. Throughout this whole process Brian and I have been praying that the Lord would lead us to the right house and neighborhood and if we were moving towards the wrong house that he would make it clear. Well, he made it very clear that building this house was not the right move for us. At the time we didn't understand and honestly were a little disappointed.
In January we contacted one of Brian's former co-workers (who is now a realtor) and asked him to start sending us listings of houses that were either for rent or sale. We would look through the listings but never were impressed with any of the houses. Then at the beginning of February we saw a house that we thought looked perfect. We went and looked at it on a Wednesday and before leaving the house we had put an offer on it. Our realtor let us know that the house had only been on the market for 4 days at this point and had already had 20 showings and 4 offers. Thankfully they decided to take our offer!
Brian and I are so excited about moving into our new home. Last night we went over to move some stuff in and one of our new neighbors came over to introduce themselves. They were so nice and even offered to help us move in! They also told us that the neighborhood is really friendly and loves to have block parties. We left last night so excited and truly feeling like this was all orchestrated by the Lord. We are so excited to see what He has in store for us in this neighborhood! Here are some pictures of the house. Once it gets all set up I will post new pictures.

23 Week Update
Heartbeat? Still beating strong!
Total weight gain/loss: 15 pounds
Maternity clothes? Yep, I am loving my maternity jeans and new maternity work pants. It is nice not having to worry about buttoning or zipping up your pants. However, I do worry that after I have Tyler that I will forget to zip my pants again :).
Sleep? Still sleeping through the night
Movement: All the time now! He is a kicker. It is fun to look down and see your stomach moving when he kicks.
