Easter 2016

We have been so lucky with such beautiful weather this month. Easter weekend was no different! We started Saturday morning with an Easter egg hunt at Mimi and Pops house with all of the cousins.

Tyler was so excited running around looking for eggs. Eisley on the other hand couldn't have cared less. She was done after finding one egg. However, she did get a little lamb stuffed animal in her prize egg and was obsessed! She loves anything soft and cuddly!

After the egg hunt, Eisley went down for a nap and the rest of us dyed eggs.

Sunday morning we started with Easter baskets and a huge chocolate bunny. Tyler and Brian saw this chocolate bunny at Target a few weeks ago and "hid" it so that no one else would buy it. He was so excited!

We headed over to have lunch with Mimi, Pops, Jeff, and Grandmom. 

Tyler loves playing in the attic with all of his daddy's and uncle's childhood toys.

After lunch we headed to 6 Flags for a few hours. The weather was perfect and it wasn't too crowded.

The log ride is one of Tyler's favorite rides. Tyler always rides in the front and Eisley is somewhere between Brian and his dad! :)

Eisley-12 Months

Eisley is officially 1 year old! I don't think I realized how quickly time went by with Tyler but this time around I get it. She is growing up so quickly and even though we have had lots of sickness and fussyness this last month I have loved every stage of her first year. (Well maybe not month 2 when she screamed almost constantly.) She got RSV, double ear infection, a cold, another ear infection, and went from 1 tooth to like 8 all in the last month. However, we survived! :) She still is the sweetest little cuddle bug at nap and bedtime and still has the sweetest and friendliest personality. 

She loves to push her toys around the room and walk holding onto the couch but she is not taking any steps yet. She does love to climb and has realized that she can get up on the fireplace. She thinks she is being so sneaky but I'm always right there making sure she doesn't hurt herself.

This girl can eat. If I am eating something then she wants it too. I have completely weaned her and have tried to introduce milk but she only likes it in small doses. I may have to bust out the chocolate syrup. 

She absolutely loves her daddy! In the morning she has to watch him walk to his car while she waves and says "bye" to him. When he walks through the door after work you better watch out. She crawls as quickly as her little legs will crawl to get to him. It is so sweet. 

We had family and a couple of friends over to celebrate her birthday. She had so much fun playing with everyone but had absolutely no interest in eating her cupcake. It makes no sense because she loves food! I think everyone watching her was too much.

Food: She is eating 3 "meals" a day and I have almost weaned her entirely. 

Sleep: 2 naps and bedtime is between 6:30 and 7pm.  

Clothes: 12 months

Likes: bath time, when daddy comes home from work, eating real food

Words: Ma-ma, da-da, buh (for brother), hi, bye-bye

Favorite Mommy Moment: She is still not interested in trying to walk on her own but is crawling all over the place. She has also gone from only a few teeth to 8 in a month. 

Eisley-11 Months

Where has the time gone?! I can not believe that we are planning her 1st birthday party. I was making the slideshow to show at her party and just started bawling. My sweet baby is growing up! She still has the sweetest most friendly demeanor. We were at breakfast the other day and she reached for the waitress to hold her. Then when I tried to take her back, Eisley wouldn't let go of the waitress! :) She is still crawling everywhere and mostly wants to play with whatever Tyler is playing with. She can walk behind a push toy and stand for a few seconds all on her own. She is getting into everything and can make a mess in about 2 seconds. We are still holding strong with 2 bottom teeth and she loves to eat just about anything you put in front of her. 

We love you so much precious Eisley!

Food: 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 6:30/7pm. She is also eating 3 "meals" a day.

Likes: playing Patty Cake, clapping, waving, saying "hi" to people
