This year we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with the Pattillo's. It is crazy to think that this time next year we will not have just one grand baby to be entertained by... but 3! The Pattillo's have a tradition (that is 65 years old) where they all come together for a "breakfast for dinner" dinner. It was fun getting to share a meal with lots of family. I think there was around 20 people at the table. After dinner we have a time of singing and reading the Christmas story. This year was particularly special because Brian's granddad (who is 89 years old) shared the amazing story of how he came to know the Lord. After everyone left we helped Jackson set out his milk and cookies for Santa, watched It's A Beautiful Life, and then went to bed. The next morning Jackson was so excited to see his stocking and kept telling us that Santa left "crumbs" on his plate.
He was so excited because Santa brought him his bat cave!
Scott got a gift wrapped in Justin Beiber wrapping paper...hilarious!
After opening all of our gifts it was nice to have an afternoon to relax and spend time with family. Its nice to have an excuse to snick in a quick nap :). We had an amazing Christmas this year and look forward to spending it with baby Tyler and baby Will next year!
