If I could sum this month up in one word it would be "exhausting". You sure know how to wear your momma out! You love to crawl around the house and can get pretty much where ever you want. Some of your favorite things right now are pulling up on the fireplace, the stairs, lamps, and the TV stand. I feel like I am constantly trying to redirect you so that you don't hurt yourself. I know it is inevitable but it still scares me to think of you hitting your head on the fireplace or pulling the lamp over on top of yourself. Yikes!
Now that you are crawling all over the place (and getting pretty fast) we had Uncle Grant build a baby gate for the top of the stairs. We love it and are so lucky that he is such a handy man!
We have loved getting to see Charles and Jordie a lot this month. Baby Samson is due any day now and they will be moving to Alabama for residency soon and we are so sad! However, we are excited to make the trip to visit them. Tyler and Samson are destined to be the best of friends...they don't really have a choice :). Tyler is so excited about Samson being born!
It is so fun to see Tyler's personality developing. He is the friendliest little thing and loves to wave and smile at anyone that will look his way. Whenever we are out running errands I constantly have people coming up to me telling me how happy and cute he is :). Tyler responds by smiling and reaching for them. No stranger danger here!
One of your most favorite parts of the day is when daddy gets home. The second you hear the garage door opening you stop what you are doing, squeal really loud, and start crawling as fast as your little legs will go towards the back door. You get SO excited and of course daddy LOVES it!
You also love to make all kinds of fun noises with your mouth. You have started to make a clicking noise with your tongue but your favorite thing is to blow spit bubbles.
You also enjoying bath time but not in the way most kids do. Most kids like to splash around and play with their bath toys. You, however, enjoy soaking and sucking on your washcloth or chewing on a toy. When you are done you just flip over, sit up, and put your arms in the air letting me know I need to get you out.
You love being outside so we try to spend as much time out as we can. You will put anything in your mouth so I have to make sure your paci stays in your mouth. I have pulled many leaves out of your mouth! Yuck!
Here you are waving at momma.

You love being with your daddy!
This is how Brian STILL changes Tyler's dirty diapers...weak, I say, WEAK! :)
We love going to have lunch with daddy! Although today the plant was a little more interesting.
You are the cutest little thing and I love being your mommy! It is so hard to believe that you are almost a year old. Time is flying by so fast!
The sweetest face and...
cutest booty...ever!
Food: Still breastfeeding every 3-4 hours; eating 3 meals a day. It is so much fun feeding him from "real food", 6 teeth (2 on top, 4 on bottom)
Sleep: Bedtime is 7:30 and he usually wakes up between 6 and 7 (we don't get him out of his crib until 7). We have dropped his middle nap so he takes a nap in the morning and in the afternoon which last about 1 1/2 hours.
Clothes: 9 months, 9-12 months
Likes: Pulling up on things, knocking all his books off the shelf, being outside, laying down in the bathtub, looking at pictures we have hanging on the walls, when he hears the garage door open because that means daddy is home, crawling over my legs when I am on the floor
Dislikes: riding in the car, getting out of the bathtub, getting his diaper changed or getting dressed
