It had been a long time since we had made the trip to my parents house in Temple so we decided to spend Easter there this year. Saturday we spent the day hanging out around my parents house, hunting Easter eggs, eating, and spending time with family. Everyone was there….Kali, Lance, Tanner, Hadley, Grant, Mallory, Me, Brian, and Tyler (plus my parents). We had a full house! Tyler was having issues with his allergies which means he started wheezing again so we was on a few steroids, breathing treatments, and medicine for an ear infection so Saturday was a little rough for us. Lets just say the steroids + being out of our normal routine = mommy almost lost it a few times. :) Regardless of the crazy, Tyler loved being with Tanner, Grammy and iPop. He woke up every morning saying "Go see Tanner!" Here are some pictures from our weekend.
Dying eggs Isn't Hadley precious?!
Attempting to make "egg shaped" pancakes.
Confetti eggs were a hit!
Tyler was obsessed with riding this bike.
My dad took him out to ride it in his footed pjs and brought him back inside with huge holes in the toes of his pjs. Now we just need to grow a little to reach the peddles!
Hanging out (aka "making sure my child doesn't do something to Tanner") in their "secret playroom" under the stairs. Poor Tanner was not doing so well with his allergies! No bluebonnets for him :(
Resurrection rolls
I am so thankful that we could spend the weekend with family! Most importantly I am thankful for my relationship with the Lord. Easter is so important because by Christ's death and resurrection he has shown that nothing, not even death, can overcome his love. He is risen!
Wonderful!!!
