Destin Trip

This past week we spent 5 days and 4 nights on the beaches of Destin, FL with Brian's best friends and their families. There were 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 3 and under) and I'd say we did pretty good considering. Here are some of the highlights of the trip.

Wednesday

Leaving Mimi and Pops house...puka shells and all ;) Don't worry those were an inside joke and not a fashion statement.

Someone refused to fall asleep on the flight but FINALLY fell asleep as we were landing. Praise the Lord for Puffs...that is the only thing that kept her happy on the flight.

WE MADE IT! Don't worry...Eisley was asleep on my shoulder and not in the stroller with big brother pushing her around.

First thing we did was head to the beach. Tyler LOVED it!

Best buds...the kids didn't get the "smile and look at the camera" memo.

Thursday

We spent the morning at the beach. Brian caught a crab in a net which was really cool. The kids dug a hole in the sand and played in the waves. Eisley loved sitting under the tent and splashing her feet in the water.

After naps we put matching clothes on our kids and went out to explore!

Friday

We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed most of the day at Crab Island and

Our kids totally cooperate for pictures.

Saturday

Today was our last full day so we spent it at the beach.

Sunday

We ended the trip with donuts at The Donut Hole and a trip to the pier.

We saw a dolphin swimming right off the pier.

We said our goodbyes and headed to the airport. Tyler totally cried when we told him we were going back to our house and not the beach house.
(I told you she loves Puffs....look at her reaching for them!)

We had an amazing trip with these sweet friends. I am so thankful that Brian has maintained a friendship with each of these guys. It is really special to think of our kids growing up going on vacations together. Looking forward to next time!
